Today's workplace is much different than the workplace 20 years ago. Companies are forced to do more with less and technology has played a huge role in efficiency and streamlining processes. Unfortunately, not all people are on-board with today's emerging technology. The main reason some do not embrace technology is because they are unfamiliar with it and uncomfortable with learning a new skill. We created this curation hub so employees can learn how to use Google's features to increase workflow and contribute to a company's overall success. We are concentrating on four tools: Google Accounts, Gmail, Google Calendar and Blogger.
Google Accounts- Google's one stop shopping begins with the opening or creating of a Google account. With this account an employee will be able to access Gmail, Google Calendar and Blogger.
Gmail: The use of email has eliminated many face-to-face meetings, which sometimes take employees away from completing daily tasks. Email makes it easier to communicate with colleagues, constituents and clients.
Google Calendar: Calendars are helpful to keep yourself organized, both at work and in your personal life. People are busier than ever and a calendar is essential, especially one that can be shared with family members or colleagues, and accessed from your smartphone or tablet.
Blogger: And sometimes you just need to write it all down! Blogs are the new "diary," except now you can share your "diary" with others who can learn from your experiences, expertise, hobbies, etc. Many companies are embracing Blogger as a way to get their product in the media spotlight and get consumers talking (and most importantly, BUYING!)
